全书共12个单元。每单元由三部分组成:Preparatory Activities,In and Out和Moving On。Preparatory Activities主要通过阅读文章和讨论的方式来激发学习者的思维,引导他们进入主题的学习;In and Out包含多个音(视)频材料及相应的听、说练习, 训练学习者的听说技能,同时吸收商务知识和信息;Moving On既有阅读文章,又有较复杂的口语活动,旨在巩固、提高并进一步拓 展学生的商务知识和口头表达能力。

本书在提高学习者听说能力的同时,也强调了对于一般商务知识的掌握,有助于培养商务环境中的交际能力。

1) A headhunter is actually a professional placement specialist or executive recruiter.
2) The executive recruiter will either go into their database of candidates and/or they will actually recruit or headhunt at other companies to find the most appropriate individual or individuals they can introduce to their client company, and hopefully get them placed.
3) They can be paid by the client companies or the applicants. And the most reputable headhunting firms are going to be company paid.
4) It's very important to find out what their track record is, what types of companies they typically work with and whether they have areas of specialization that they place.

Tell an employee how to improve instead of pointing out mistakes.
4) Set goals
Set goals for your employees, and give them clear guidelines to follow to help them achieve those goals.
5) Recognize
Recognize employees for their hard work and individually thank them at staff meetings.
6) Reward
Reward deserving employees with more challenging projects.
7) Explore other options
Explore other incentives to increase motivation in workers, such as a flexible work schedule, treating an employee to lunch, or an occasional Friday afternoon off.
